Scheduling and Roster Management- Creating and maintaining staff rosters and schedules for events using a time and attendance system - Coordinating with various departments to ensure adequate staffing levels for all events and activities- Adjusting schedules as necessary to meet unforeseen staffing needs. Staffing Plan and Forecasting- Collaborating with event planning teams to develop staffing plans based on event forecasts/requirements- Monitoring and analysing attendance data to optimize staffing efficiency- Maintaining a clear understanding of workforce availability and requirements- Outsourcing to nominated agencies where applicable and ensure all costs are captured. Uniform Management- Overseeing the distribution and maintenance of staff uniforms- Ensuring compliance with uniform policies and guidelines. Staff Check-In/Out Operations- Implementing and overseeing the event day delivery of the staff check-in and check-out process for all live events, ensuring staff have the necessary accreditation and access while maintaining the accuracy of scanning in/out software and equipment- Taking responsibility for verifying that only authorized staff have access to premises and internal software/hardware and that all staff scan in / out to record hours of work. Culture- Fostering an inclusive culture within the People Operations Department that extends to the casual workforce- Managing and communicating with the casual workforce with compassion, honesty and empathy.Team Management- Managing a team of People Operations Specialists, managing rotas to ensure adequate coverage during event days as well as non-event days- Support continuous improvement of payroll processes, controls, and documentation.
