ABOUT JACK PIERCY

Deeply interested in the representation of virtual architecture and its manifestation in reality, I believe it is of vital importance that modern methods of design are in keeping with consideration for the ever-evolving medium of the industry. Through a rigorous design process and an equally innovative communication of such, we as architects have the power to shape places into successful spaces, the end result conveying the same intentions and emotion as that cultivated within the digital design. Utilisation of a vast array of mediums can allow us to identify new ways to read urban space, enabling the ability to solve invisible issues within these areas, whilst doing so in the production of a sustainable and compelling architecture. As important as I trust these ideas to be, I place equal importance on a harmonious design team to implement them - teamworking and communication being particular strengths of mine, having received the highest mark of my cohort in both final year group design projects (resulting in the Charles Reilly Gold Medal) and my individual dissertation receiving the John Tarn Dissertation Award.
