ABOUT JACK PARKINSON
I am a researcher with interests in cognition and learning, specifically spatial reasoning for STEM achievement. I am a world-leading expert on the relationships between spatial cognition and success in computing. I am a founding member of the Turner Kirk Centre for Spatial Reasoning at the Univeristy of Glasgow.I am also interested in computing science education and supporting the learning of computing. I am a member of the Centre for Computing Science Education in the Education and Practice section within the School of Computing Science at the Univeristy of Glasgow. I have taught small groups and occasionally lectured for the past 9 years.
