I am dedicated to transforming Highway/Motorway Transportation into a sustainable funding model through \"user pays \" policy and road charging by distance combined with value added services, also called Mobility as a Service. It is a 50-50 proposition - 50% technology solutions to integrate, interoperate the services we desire to use, and 50% payment and pricing to manage demand and provide a common account methodology to simplify our mobile lifestyle. I see the synergistic fit of CAV and ITS through Road Charging as the creation of a rational funding mechanism to sustain transport funding into the future as well as the technological applications to integrate seamless transport for mobility from A to B and beyond.I bring over three decades of experience as a project manager, expert consultant and senior policy advisor to local, state, national and international transportation agencies and private clients in the area of advanced technology for enhanced, integrated mobility with value added Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) applications. This combination is using mobility as a service and utility through shared services. This integrated and interoperable world is necessary to break down the individual stove pipe existing in our transportation policy and the creation of the new sharing model for mobility. My past and current global experience feeds this conceptual transition to a brave new world.Since 2009, I have been a key strategy consultant and service area leader for the team of consultants creating and developing the road charging systems for state and national breakthroughs for sustainable mobility. I have led the development of the strategic program plans, national and international lessons learned, organizational framework, financial viability, outreach and focus group analysis, business case analysis, and development of concepts with integrated ITS value added services for transition to greater mobility.
