Electrical Discipline Engineer in SSER\'s Technical Centre of Excellence specialising in WTG electrical systems supporting the WTG and WTG substructure packages for SSER\'s offshore wind development projects, including Ijmuiden Ver Alpha, Arklow and Berwick Bank.My responsibilities include:• Defining the electrical technical requirements within the TSA and Substructure Contracts• Carrying out Technical Due Diligence for Electrical Performance and Grid Code Compliance on the latest offshore WTG platforms from the industry leading OEMs. • Defining the electrical contractor responsibilities at the interface between the WTG and WTG Substructure.• Owning and mitigating any electrical risks for the WTG and WTG Substructure.• Interfacing with the WTG OEMs and power system studies teams to ensure delivery of studies to prove GCC.Additionally, I hold the voluntary role of Deputy Chair for the Technical Centre of Excellence Safety Family. In this role I develop and champion safety improvement initiatives within the group, with the objective of getting all our colleagues Home Safe. I lead up a working group on Psychological Safety to ensure people feel empowered to challenge unsafe practices.

ABOUT JACK NIMOON
I am passionate about the environment, and I am driven by helping to achieve the next energy transition by rapid decarbonisation of the energy sector.I have Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) focused in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Queen\'s University Belfast and a Masters degree (MSc) in Renewable Energy Engineering, with the University of Aberdeen. I am an experienced Electrical Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the Energy industry in project development. I specialise in auxillary electrical systems in major energy infrastructure projects.I have previous experience in design and development, of electrical cable harnesses and control cabinets, including cable and component rating, the creation of wiring schematics, 3D models and technical drawings of wiring harnesses (CREO, Siemens NX, & EPlan design software) and diagrams for the control of diesel generators. All work carried out in these projects was carried out in compliance with IEC or UL standards.Also, I have previously demonstrated skills in root cause analysis (trained in 8D and FMEA), diagnosing PCBA faults and writing technical reports, when I worked handling complaints within the medical device industry, for a defibrillator manufacturer.
