About Jack McSorley

I am a current second year student in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville working towards a bachelor\'s degree in finance. The biggest traits that I have developed in my college career have been time management and communication skills. In high school, I was involved in rigorous coursework alongside many extracurriculars. I was able to develop my time management skills very quickly, and those have assisted me a lot in my time at college so far. Transitioning from smaller high school class sizes to giant lectures have forced me to develop my communication skills if I have any questions about course material. I know these skills will assist me in whatever direction my career in finance takes me.I look forward to applying my current knowledge I have gained as well as obtaining as much real-world experience in mechanical engineering as possible. Ultimately, I want to pursue a career in an organization where I am able to grow and utilize my education and various skills that I have fostered. I want to become a very effective leader who brings out the best in everyone I connect with.
