About Jack McGovern

I’m currently a Compliance Analyst at PGIM supporting the Global Marketing & Distribution team. In this role, I partner with various business lines, including quantitative, multi-asset, real estate, and private capital, to review and approve marketing communications. I work closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure that all materials (from investment material and pitch decks to social media content and data requests) are accurate, clear, and compliant with applicable regulations and internal standards.Before this role, I worked for PGIM Quantitative Solutions within PGIM in trade compliance, focusing on compliance oversight, guideline monitoring, and a multitude of different projects. Several of my accomplishments included helping strengthen core compliance functions by efficiently managing daily deliverables and supporting new account onboarding. I helped lead the Annual Guideline Review Project and major data cleanup initiatives along with helping support Compliance Council preparation. Finally, I also reviewed and updated SOPs to reflect current practices, and participated in QPAM and SOC audits, providing documentation and demonstrating reliability. Before joining PGIM, I developed a solid foundation in internal controls and risk management through my role as an Internal Controls Associate at Unity Bank. Earlier internships in insurance, property management, and financial planning helped shape my understanding of the broader economic landscape and how different organizations approach regulation, operations, and client service. Together, these experiences have helped build my career into a meaningful blend of analytical work, problem-solving, and continuous professional growth.
