ABOUT JACK PLANTE

As an Ojai native, Jack La Plante has a deep love and appreciation for the town he calls home. The passion he has for Ojai, coupled with an in-depth knowledge of the neighborhoods and communities within, has given Jack the ability to guide his clients to their perfect fit and to sell their homes for the highest profit in the least amount of time. Since a young age, Jack has been no stranger to hard-work. At 8 years old Jack began his journey into competitive tennis. From then until college, Jack dedicated countless hours to his craft until being awarded a scholarship to a top-ranked, division one university. There, he learned to compete at the highest level while facing enormous amounts of pressure and he also acquired skills in managing an extremely demanding schedule. Jack brings much of what he learned from competitive tennis into the world of real estate. As an agent, Jack will work relentlessly towards his clients goals, taking challenges head-on, and demonstrating thorough preparation and professionalism throughout the entire buying or selling process. Most importantly, however, Jack focuses on building positive and lasting relationships with everyone he works with. Real estate has always had a big role in Jack’s life, as he grew up with property hounds for parents. His father and mother moved their family to Ojai in 2004 specifically to buy, sell and build property. During his upbringing, Jack witnessed several houses built and saw over a dozen other homes bought, renovated, sold, and rented. This exposed the future agent to all sides of real estate transactions, including both the tribulations and successes that inevitably can come from them. Having a deep-routed understanding of what it is like to be on the client-side of real estate transactions allows Jack to be compassionate, creative, and informed when dealing with his own clients and their needs. Jack can be described as someone who gets along with everyone, and who treats others the way they wish to be treated. Those who know Jack gravitate towards him in areas of both business and friendship.
