About Jack Klingelsmith

I’m an aspiring aerospace engineer at UT Austin, pursuing a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Business. I’m passionate about learning through hands-on experience and solving real-world problems with a team.Through my work with the Longhorn Rocketry Association, I’ve gained practical experience in fluid systems, instrumentation, and control systems. I’ve helped design and wire electronics for hybrid rocket engine testing and collaborated with peers to upgrade and optimize our test stands. This has taught me not just technical skills, but the importance of safety, organization, and cross-functional teamwork.Outside of engineering, I’ve developed strong communication and adaptability skills through roles in hospitality and recreation. I enjoy balancing technical work with people-focused environments and bring energy and curiosity to every challenge.I’m actively seeking opportunities to apply my skills and continue growing in the aerospace, tech, or engineering industries
