Responsibilities including:• Identifying and evaluating portfolio sites to contribute towards the business’ growth ambition and securing a 1GW+ pipeline.• Assisting with M&A activities.• Capturing new sites to add to the portfolio through negotiating with landowners to secure the necessary land rights (Letters of Authority, Exclusivity Agreements, Heads of Terms, Option and Lease Agreements) for the development, construction and operation of solar and BESS projects.• Managing multiple planning consultants (and sub-consultants) for multiple projects across the UK.• Managing the gate process for budget approvals and reviews for each project.• Securing satisfactory project planning permissions in accordance with designs.• Leading post-planning consent works (including discharging of planning conditions) prior to handing over to commence pre-construction activities.• Representing the company in discussions with community groups, consultees, planning and other regulatory officials.
