ABOUT JACK HOWARD

I am a licensed counseling and sport psychologist with knowledge, skills, and experience in various professional settings. I have worked in four NCAA Division I athletic departments, which has sharpened my skills as a clinician, leader, and multidisciplinary team member. I am also a co-owner of a virtual private practice, Sun Belt Psychology, PLLC. At SBP, I provide services in applied sport psychology and individual therapy, leveraging technology to reach clients across the country. I am committed to delivering personalized, evidence-based interventions that empower individuals to thrive both inside and outside the athletic environment.Beyond clinical practice, I am deeply invested in advancing the fields of counseling and sport psychology through research initiatives, professional organization involvement, and supervision of the next generation of sport psychologists. My future endeavors include exploring the intersection of parenting, sport socialization, positive psychology, and athletic performance, and improving supervisory dynamics and DEI initiatives within the sport psychology realm and beyond.
