ABOUT JACK GRAVES

Senior Project Manager with 5+ years experience in Project and Programme Management and over a decade of experience in the Aerospace and Engineering industry. I have managed Category A and Category B Procurement Projects (in excess of £100M) through tender phases whilst utilising a multidisciplinary team as well as adopting a client facing role and managing a wide variety of stakeholders. I have experience in managing both design & build, and build-to-print programmes that cover areas such as Design, Manufacture, Operational and In-Service Support. I have led a variety of project workshops and presentations along with leading teams. I like to adopt an open and honest, no-blame culture within my teams, as this helps to detect risk, issues and opportunities more efficiently as well as allow for more decisive and dynamic management. Additionally, this helps facilitate continuous improvement and the capture of lessons learned. By leading by example, I can promote this in the way I hold my responsibility and accountability regarding the delivery of project outputs and striving for the most cost-effective and efficient means of delivery. Embedding this in the culture of my project teams and implementing Continuous Improvement strategies, as well as a positive, adaptable, and versatile approach to project management has aided me in developing relationships with stakeholders of varying seniority. Ultimately this allows me to create and maintain the wide spectrum of project artefacts such as Business Cases, PMPs and Project schedules as well as track and manage the adherence to project budgets and approvals.
