ABOUT JACK FRENCH
I worked for 2 years at Rising Sun Pictures in Adelaide, Australia. During that time I produced shots for movies including X-men Apocalypse, Pan, Tarzan, Gods of Egypt, Logan and I\'ve since moved to Vancouver to work for ILM. I have a heavy focus on shot design, camera work, complex projection setups, set dressing and sequence continuity. I have also developed skills in Tracking / Matchmove. I am comfortable in Nuke, 3dEqualizer, Maya, Photoshop, Mari, Substance Painter/Designer, Arnold, and basic knowledge of Houdini. In the later part of my career, I\'ve taken up coding in Python and C++, which I used to build the Layout pipeline at Mr. X Adelaide. I\'ve also begun teaching myself game development in Unreal Engine and music/scoring in Pro Tools. I like to think of myself as an all-round digital generalist!
