Lead and manage a team of solar engineers, including an international team based in India- Assist sales and product teams in evaluating the technical viability of proposed solar sites- Manage detailed layout design processes and generate bid packages using CAD and other design tools- Utilize energy production modeling software (Helioscope, PVBid, Energy Tool Base) to prepare energy production estimates- Lead the review of customer proposals and opportunity analysis using various tools- Manage the distribution interconnection process and interface with utilities and regional transmission operators- Develop and maintain strong relationships with solar EPCs, technology providers, OEMs, and O&M providers- Evaluate and approve the selection of installation vendors and technologies- Collaborate with third-party experts to identify key industry trends- Evaluate project siting constraints and technologies to maximize project value- Conduct site visits to support site evaluation and due diligence efforts- Provide technical support to project finance and credit committees during the financing process- Act as a liaison between Procurement, Commercial Product, Sales, and Delivery teams- Organize and manage Solar Request for Proposal (RFP) processes.
