ABOUT JACK ELLIOTT

Head of Legal with a strong track record of delivering high-quality legal advice and driving strategic initiatives. Deep understanding of the drinks industry and a keen interest in FMCG commercial legal work.As a lawyer with a focus on the drinks industry, I am passionate about providing effective legal advice that helps to drive business success. Currently working for Asahi UK, I work closely with internal stakeholders to provide practical and commercially-focused legal advice, and have played an active role in managing legal projects and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. I am a firm believer in the importance of collaboration and teamwork, and enjoy working closely with colleagues from different departments to achieve common goals.I have a strong interest in FMCG commercial legal work more broadly, and I am constantly seeking to expand my knowledge and experience in this area. I am particularly interested in finding creative solutions to complex legal challenges.In addition to my work with Asahi, I also teach Commercial Contract and Intellectual Property at Strathclyde University. This experience has honed my ability to break down complex legal concepts and communicate them in a clear and concise manner to a diverse audience. This skill has proved invaluable in my role as a Senior Legal Counsel, where I frequently work with colleagues from different departments, each with their own unique understanding of legal issues. My experience teaching has given me the ability to bridge this knowledge gap, ensuring that legal advice is communicated effectively and understood by all stakeholders.
