ABOUT JACK DYSON

Two of my core values are to remain as disciplined as possible and learn all that I can in the time I have. This passion has pushed me to be the best I can be, both in physical fitness and my Academics. In addition, by maintaining a consistent level of personal, extracurricular and academic growth year by year, I can say confidently that each year brings new challenges and opportunities for me. I am currently in my 4th year at UBC, pursuing an Undergraduates degree in History alongside a Minor in Law and Society, with the expectation of attending Law school in later years. During these years, I have taken up hobbies such as Bodybuilding, Hiking and Powerlifting, which have helped me excel physically and Mentally. Outside of academics, I pursue leadership positions, both in the workforce and extracurricular activities. These positions include my time as a Sales Representative for Kymand incorporated, a licensed TELUS/ADT dealer specializing in Smart-home security. I have also played a vital role as a director at the UBC Hong Kong student association, one of UBC’s largest social clubs. Although varied in nature, each of these positions has taught me valuable lessons that I believe come with paying attention to multiple pursuits. Overall, I consider myself a well liked individual who looks forward to meeting new people, hearing new stories and embarking on new experiences
