Responsible for Global Corporate Program of Dangerous Goods and Warehouse Safety Provide technical direction globally to the Environment Heath & Safety (EHS) Shared Service Team and Company Stakeholders in a number of given specialist areas. Specialist areas include Warehouse Safety, Controlled Drugs, Chemical Weapons, Shipping/Receiving/Customs, Dangerous Goods and related Chemical and Biological inventories. Oversees the development of systems and governance activities to enable compliance while working with colleagues in developing the strategy of the company in these specialist areas to minimize loss and enable the suitable management of risk in the given disciplines. EHS cross region specialist point of contact for Pharma, R&D, Vaccines and Commercial business sites/units in the above listed disciplines. Interacts with other EHS and associated professionals to ensure EHS specialist requirements and management systems for normal and emergency/incident scenarios are designed, developed, fit for purpose and communicated so they are implemented across business units. Ensure delivery of an efficient and effective technical advice service across regions that meet customer needs and meet required standards, support the local awareness and knowledge development in key technical EHS aspects and management systems. Ensure a strong and robust partnership exists with the other relevant support services.
