ABOUT JACK BICKERTON
Barrister specialising in family law, court of protection and community care. Nominated and shortlisted Barrister of the Year 2025 by the Greater Manchester Pro Bono Committee.Autistic expert by experience. Accredited to deliver the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training course on autism. Producing, consulting, and developing various resources for Pathways. Lead workshops on the Mental Capacity 2005 principles aimed at senior management on NHS boards through to new-starters. Previously sat on the panel for Care (Education) Treatment Reviews for children, young people, and adults with a learning disability and/or Autism.I also practised as a family mediator before coming to the bar. The skills and ethos learnt are very much central to my practice in dispute resolution.
