ABOUT JACK BARTER

At present, I am a final year student studying a degree in BSc (Hons) Building Surveying at Northumbria University. As an ambitious and dedicated individual with a high drive to impact the property industry, I was honored to be given the chance to undertake a placement year at Naylors Gavin Black, to gain first hand, real-world experience in the field of Building Surveying. During my employment I gained valuable experience across a broad range of client instructions, I have delivered and assisted with delivering a range of schemes from inception through to completion; ensuring client satisfaction throughout. I prepared schedules of conditions, dilapidation assessments as well as assisting with subsequent negotiations for both landlord and tenant.I have also carried out more traditional building surveyor roles such as project management, contract administration roles working with JCT Minor Works, technical due diligence, condition surveys, measured surveys and the associated CAD plans.I am a highly motivated and productive individual who is always looking for the best opportunities. Being highly sociable and approachable I feel at ease working with all groups of people, therefore, I believe I would be an asset to any team.
