Hello, I am pleased to meet you. All posts and comments are my personal opinion and not that of any company or organization! I am a lifelong Building and Fire Code Professional and Building Official for the City of Estacada the fastest growing City in Oregon. I am also the President of Mortier Engineering PE, PC. I also work as the CEO of Northwest Code Professionals and MAE Engineering. I have been the leader with corporate management, lead several mergers and acquisitions and lead a dedicated team of more than 50 employees. I own my own business which I started in 2002 and continue to operate today providing expert witness services and technical code consulting.I currently serve as a Board of Director at the International Code Council.I have been the past President of the International Code Council, Region II Board of Directors, past chapter officer and President multiple times at the local ICC chapter level. I was honored to receive the coveted ICC Raising the Profile Award in 2018. I spend countless hours doing what I love volunteering for ICC and its members. I work hard to continue to build strong ICC Military Families programs and to mentor the next generation of code officials while ensuring that I am inclusive, thoughtful and fair in my actions. I am a very proud disabled US NAVY Desert Storm Veteran, and I am thankful for the opportunity to serve my country. I have spent my life serving others and will continue to do so as long as God has that plan for me.
