ABOUT JACK ALLWOOD

A conscientious professional with extensive experience within the technology sector in a number of roles. He has delivered a wide variety of solutions across a large number of different technologies and is currently seeking new opportunities. A highly organised and efficient individual, whose thorough and precise approach to projects has yielded excellent results no matter the circumstances. Recent achievements with his previous employer include the design and implementation of an innovative new entitlement management system and overhaul of automated compliance tooling. • Knowledgeable and experienced in a large number of corporate technologies including O365, Azure, AWS, and SAP. Familiar with a number of OS: Client, server and embedded such as Linux (RH, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.), Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android. Delivered on both x86 and ARM architectures primarily 32 and 64bit. Hardware for UC solutions, end user computing, HPC and development boards. • Strong experience with a number of open source technologies and how to manage in product development (Fossology, Black Duck, etc.). Experience handling sensitive IP and compliance heavy deliverables. • Experience in the creation and maintenance of a wide variety of documentation such as Project Plans, Service Delivery Plans, Options Papers, High Level Design, etc. • Experienced with concepts and tooling to support development such as Atlassian suite (Jira, Bamboo, Confluence, etc.), Microsoft Project, Planner, Visual Studio stack, DITA CMS, Git (various flavours), CI tooling (Bamboo, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.), requirements management tooling, etc. • Strong Team management skills; building, managing and motivating diverse teams. Proficient in a number of different delivery methodologies: Agile (Kanban, DSDM, Scrum, SAFe), Waterfall, Product and Platform. • Excellent communication and Presentation skills including at the Exec level. • Strong focus on skills development including training courses for ITIL foundation, BCS foundation, a number of Business Analysis BCS modules, Prince2, PMP/PMI, Leading SAFe, CISSP, etc.
