We do this through collaborations that develop youth programs, coordinate diversity-building initiatives, and connect stakeholders to resources. The number one design goal is to empower today’s youth with real-world skills, connections, and opportunities so that tomorrow’s design profession has all the best people leading the way. Since its inception, designExplorr has reached more than youth. We have been commissioned to execute the Design Diversity Index, work to diversify the Amazon Design Internship pipeline, develop mentorship programs at Target, coordinate youth activities with Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, and present this important research work to several organizations.
