ABOUT JACEY KENNY
I hold a Masters of Science from the University of Calgary, Cumming School of Medicine where I studied cancer Biochemistry. My research focused on characterizing the novel roles of DNA-PKcs by utilizing CRISPR deletions in cancer cell lines and characterizing the phenotypic consequences through various biochemical assays. Through this work, I have elucidated a novel mechanism of DNA-PKcs in the metabolism and proliferation of cancer cells.I currently work in cancer clinical trials as a Research Assistant. I hope to combine my love for science and passion for communication to contribute to life-saving treatment developments.
