    Full time, on-site Construction Manager providing supervision and oversight for all day-to-day activities for transmission, distribution, and substation related projects. Coordinate with a multi-disciplined team that includes Field Project Managers, Project Managers, Project Controls, Engineers, and Contractors to effectively manage Client construction requirements and expectations. Responsible for overseeing assigned work and coordinating the daily activities of assigned contractors to assure high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Other duties include the following-Maintain safety awareness and ensure contractors comply with all policies, practices, and procedures to assure a safe working environment at the construction site-Monitor and report on construction productivity and schedule performance (including trends) to the project team. Direct and approve the development and implementation of subcontractor schedule recovery plans as required-Work to ensure project budgets are met by anticipating and preventing contract change orders from subcontractors. If change orders are inevitable, manage change orders to ensure claimed costs are justified with proper documentation (i.e. material receipts, contract unit rates, etc.) to limit PGM erosion-Develop work scopes, procurement, service, and construction bid documents and assist project team in bid evaluations-Implement effective material management systems
