   Technical lead for a 3-5 person team of site reliability engineers. The Platform Operations team is responsible for devops (setting up and administering instances), tools (setting up and administering the proper tools), BizOps (driving partners to key performance indicators & SLAs, and performing retrospectives for any customer facing outages), NOC/service desk (Network operations center – front line to any outages), Security (making sure all instances are compliant and secure), and SRE (triaging cloud events and helping to ensure that the production platform is stable at all times). The SRE group, under my technical leadership, has become the platform experts who engage in war rooms, retrospectives for events, and remediation. The team is also responsible for much of the automation that the Platform Operations team has come to depend on. Then Platform Operations team has roughly 50 internal partners which operate roughly 170 services & 500+ microservices, and the SRE team participates in retrospectives & remediations, participates in or leads war rooms for events, and generally advises these internal partners on how best to monitor their services or solutions.
