When I first qualified as a financial adviser at the age of 21 I was shocked that successful individuals, who had worked hard to build their own businesses and wealth, chose not to take advice from a newly qualified 21 year old! It was then that I discovered corporate pensions - travelling the country, engaging employees and encouraging them to join their employer\'s pension scheme. It was quite an easy job but it was fun and I loved it! 22 years on and having witnessed so much change (as there always is) in the world of pensions - I still love it! I’m passionate about using pension consultancy to manage risks faced by employers and pension scheme members. If the risks, for both the member and the employer are managed, we have members who have a better understanding of their pension, are able to make informed decisions and have a greater appreciation of their company pension scheme, all of which contribute to better outcomes for the members and the employer.
