Technology evolves almost daily. What was cutting edge 6 months ago is passe today, and what was hypothetical 3 years ago is suddenly in use. In the medical technology field, innovations such as robotics platforms and modern operating suite technologies are now becoming a regular part of the practice of surgery and are transforming the field. These advances are ushering in a new era which will continue to change and grow in the foreseeable future. As a leader in the field of medical and surgical technologies, I understand the industry’s nuances and am positioned for continued success. In my current role with BD, I collaborate with physicians to bring the next generation of surgical technology to use. In my first year in my sales leadership role, I doubled company revenues, delivering more than $9M to the bottom line. By coaching and mentoring new team members and investing in ongoing training, my team and I have exceeded quotas quarter-over-quarter. A collaborative and engaging leader, I celebrate the successes of my team and support them in their failures.
