Reporting to the VP of Tax, oversee thirty-five person organization with responsibility for all outbound and inbound U.S. international tax compliance and strategy / planning initiatives, transfer pricing, enterprise strategic projects, tax functional support of all internal structuring / M&A activity, and foreign local tax/TP compliance, controversy, and planning matters.*Direct engagement with C-suite level executives on strategic initiatives and material issues impacting the global enterprise; includes significant thought leadership and consensus building experience in obtaining buy-in for multiple global transfer pricing (“TP”), value chain transformation (“VCT”), and international tax project efforts.*Lead transfer pricing function end-to-end, including model design, development, implementation, and maintenance of intercompany policies applicable to finished/semi-finished goods, manufacturing, IP structuring, services, financing, etc, for Bridgestone’s Americas’ tire / mobility solutions business, and Firestone global diversified products business units.*As a member of Bridgestone’s global tax leadership team, frequently advised on global TP strategy and risk matters impacting non-Americas region tire affiliates (i.e, EMEA, Asia-Pac, etc.).*TP Controversy leader for Bridgestone Americas; includes significant experience leading BAPA strategy and submission efforts, as well as Exam controversy management.*In support of VP, actively manage people development in Tax, including routine focus on succession planning, identification of high potential teammates across the department, and related development opportunities.*Employ an enhanced focus on team culture, connectivity, and the teammate experience.

ABOUT J. SCOTT WYNNE
I am a diverse tax and finance professional currently serving as the Executive Director of Transfer Pricing and International Tax at Bridgestone Americas, Inc.(\"Bridgestone\"). Prior to joining Bridgestone, I worked for Eli Lilly and Company (\"Lilly\") in roles focusing on Transfer Pricing, Tax Policy, and International Tax. Preceding my time at Lilly, I served as a Tax Manager providing myriad tax services to PwC\'s technology sector clients in the San Francisco Bay Area. Before joining the Silicon Valley practice, I served a two year tour of duty in the Washington National Tax Services (WNTS) office of PwC. At WNTS, I was responsible for advising and assisting clients from across the U.S. with an array of international tax issues as well as U.S. legislative and regulatory matters. Prior to joining WNTS, I spent four years in PwC\'s Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana (OKI) tax practice, where my primary areas of focus were income tax accounting for GAAP purposes, and U.S. federal / state tax compliance and consulting services.I received my undergraduate degree in accounting from Indiana University - Bloomington in 2006, and an MBA from Indiana University - Bloomington in 2008. I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the District of Columbia and Indiana.
