About Scott Ward

I am a student at Champlain College (Class of 2027) and am majoring in Game Programing. I am excited to continue developing my skills and experiences through my coursework and internships. I love the way game design allows me to blend my technical skills with creativity, creating new worlds to explore and puzzles to solve. My current game design experiences include platformers, top-down shooters, and grid-based games.Outside of game design, I am passionate about health and fitness. Last year, I co-founded a health content and fitness apparel company, HappyJim, with a mission to spread authenticity and body positivity for students at the gym. It taught me how critical collaboration and clear purpose are to creating an impact.

   I worked as a software engineer on a project-by-project basis, maintaining a full-time workload. My primary role involved full-stack web development for various client companies, with a strong emphasis on backend engineering. I developed and maintained scalable web applications using ASP.NET Razor Pages and C# within the Visual Studio environment. Throughout each project, I handled the entire development lifecycle gathering requirements, building backend logic, integrating databases, deploying applications, and providing ongoing support.
