About J. Ryan Flener

This is my 22nd year as a professional educator. I have enjoyed working as a teacher and coach in all three levels of public education (elementary, middle, and high school). I also spent time as a middle school assistant principal for a couple years as well. I enjoy working with students and parents. My motto has always been that \"students may forget what they learn, but they never forget how they are treated.\" I am a firm believer in building relationships by using a positive approach. I feel that building positive relationships will help you effectively communicate with students, parents, teachers, administrators, and the entire school community.I am always reevaluating and adjusting my professional goals. I look to continue to take on new challenges in the field of education and feel that my leadership style and effective communication skills will help me with each new endeavor.
