Welcome to my page. For 15+ years I have been leading people-first initiatives that align company core values and strategic business priorities inside of innovative organizations. Having worked for a variety of companies that differ in both size and industry, my expertise is diverse yet rooted in Human Resources, People + Culture and community development. Motivated by innovation and continuous improvement, I am passionate about creating a culture of belonging where we empower each other to do our best work in progressive Human Resources environments. People usually describe me as the “glue” – holding the community together. I am really good at creating psychologically safe, inclusive team environments while keeping the company vision, mission and values as our north star. As a natural relationship-builder, I lead with empathy and vulnerability to win people\'s trust. I ask thought provoking questions to uncover opportunities for improvement. Using collective feedback as a pillar for growth, I create metrics and goals in alignment with business strategies to execute, optimize and scale company culture and employee engagement initiatives. Outside of work, you can find me salsa dancing in Durham, creating in my art journal, playing rummikub with my partner, snuggling our two pandemic puppies, or tending to our vegetable garden.
