I am licensed to practice in Louisiana and Texas and admitted to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Southern District of Texas, the Eastern District of Texas, all Louisiana federal courts, and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Prior to entering private practice, I served as a law clerk to the Honorable Rhesa Hawkins Barksdale of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in Jackson, Mississippi. While in law school, I also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Albert Diaz of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in Charlotte, North Carolina and the Honorable Neil P. Olack for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi in Jackson, Mississippi.While in law school at the University of Mississippi School of Law, I was a member the Mississippi Law Journal and served as an executive articles editor.Prior to attending law school, I worked in government relations for a law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in History and Economics.
