Established in 1974, in 44 years IBI Group has grown steadily and now has over 63 offices throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, employing over 2,300 professionals and support staff.I have been fortunate to have been part of IBI Group most of my career- delivering large technical projects with difficult timelines or dependencies in complex institutional environments- thoroughly analysing and documenting business and technical requirements; and- deploying resources (staff and technical) to meet urgent business requirements.I have brought these capabilities to many verticals. For the last ten years I have focused on the needs of public transit agencies: Metrolinx; the Toronto Transit Commission; Denver’s Regional Transportation District; Connecticut Transit; London Transit; Transit Windsor; Ottawa’s OC Transpo; the Edmonton Transit System; the Minnesota Valley Transit Authority; and others.I led the team that specified, designed, developed, implemented, and is supporting and enhancing a system to calculate US$100 million annually in fees, and to verify payments from railroads using a US$2.5-billion railway built by the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.Contact me to help you get the system you need to support your agency’s objectives.

Do you know what you want from a project, particularly the delivery of a technical system? Are you getting it? Are your expectations being met?I get things done for my clients. I am particularly strong on- the delivery of large technical projects with challenging timelines or dependencies in complex institutional environments- thorough analysis and documentation of business and technical requirements; and- the objectives-focused deployment of resources (staff and technical) to meet urgent business requirements.I thrive on projects that have stalled because of institutional obstacles, or are failing to meet expectations. I work with the principals, stakeholders, developers, and end users to establish what success is, and to marshal the resources necessary to reach success. I identify the trade-offs inevitable, and help the client decide what’s important.I have been getting things done for clients for more than thirty years.
