As Assistant Director and State Chief Information Officer, I am responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the Arizona Strategic Enterprise Technology office (ASET), a division of the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA). In alignment with the strategic direction of the Governor and the missions of state agencies, ADOA-ASET develops and executes statewide technology strategy as well as provides secure capabilities, services and infrastructure to ensure the continuity of mission critical and essential systems for the state of Arizona. In leading the team of passionate professionals at ASET, I am accountable to- Support a portfolio of 35 IT services with annual revenues of $28M - Ensure governance of 100+ projects with a value of $500M+- Drive the State’s Cloud Migration strategy to completion and achieve 90 datacenter closures / 2,800+ applications migrated /$10.8M annual recurring cost avoidance- Oversee the the statewide voice and data network program servicing employees / 600+ locations /$35M+ annually - Provide leadership in statewide IT strategy, manage the relationships with all state entities, communicate and collaborate openly across agencies to identify and drive key transformation initiatives.I have received the following industry recognition- Top 25 Doers, Dreamers and Drivers 2022 - Government Technology - Mar 2022 - StateScoop 50 Award - GoldenGov State Executive of the Year - StateScoop.com - Jun 2021
