ABOUT J. R. ROBINSON
As Chief Executive Officer of Blueblacks Sports Group, I am responsible for leading the company overall vision, strategic growth, and operational execution. I oversee all aspects of the company’s sports ownership initiatives, including franchise development, league relationships, investor partnerships, and long-term organizational planning. I direct the identification and acquisition of new sports opportunities, including expansion franchises, ownership stakes, and strategic partnerships. I also lead negotiations with leagues, municipalities, and partners while ensuring each venture aligns with Blueblacks Sports Group’s mission of building sustainable, competitive, and community-focused sports organizations. I am also responsible for assembling ownership groups, securing investors, and guiding financial strategy across all BSG properties. This includes overseeing budgeting, sponsorship development, revenue planning, and long-term growth initiatives designed to strengthen each franchise under the Blueblacks umbrella. Additionally, I supervise executive leadership, front office operations, and brand development. I set organizational standards, establishes company policies, and ensures each team operates with professionalism, structure, and accountability. I serve as the primary spokesperson for Blueblacks Sports Group, representing the company in media, community, and league-level discussions. Through strategic leadership and long-term planning, I ensure Blueblacks Sports Group continues to expand its sports portfolio, build strong ownership partnerships, and develop championship-caliber organizations.
