Texas Helping Hand is a student-led organization dedicated to supporting Austin\'s unhoused population. We contribute to meaningful solutions by conducting consulting work for local nonprofits, volunteering at community events, and organizing advocacy initiatives on the UT Austin campus.As President, I am responsible for- Leading the executive board and managing all organizational operations- Coordinating consulting projects with local nonprofits to address challenges impacting the unhoused community- Organizing volunteer and advocacy events on the UT Austin campus to raise awareness and drive student engagement- Building partnerships with community leaders and student groups to expand the organization’s reach and impact- Track membership engagement and implement initiatives to ensure high retention and active participation.
