I’m J.M.Shah. I’m a structural engineer and graduated from Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat in 1960. My 60+ years of expertise and passion for applied structural engineering has made me a pioneer of industry innovations in the engineering sector.I founded WEST COAST ENGINEERING WORKS PVT. LTD in 1974 and pioneered the grid industry in India when grids were only imported to India. In order to meet demand and supply, the gap in the market prompted me and my team to develop specialty aluminum gratings, alloy products and other flooring materials that can be manufactured from aluminum alloy of any desired size, shape and load capacity. I have written several technical research articles on my contributions to the industry. With my experience, I wish to share my knowledge on the above subject with the Global Engineering fraternity and for the benefit of the industrial society in particular
