About J. Kent Cowsert

Kent has over 30 years of experience in assisting companies in many industries deploy and manage complex technology solutions. Over his career he has devoted the majority of his time to assisting global clients identify and manage the risks associated with enterprise-wide systems. In addition to client service, Kent currently serves as the Commercial Line of Business Leader for KPMG’s National Risk Services Service Line and a Global Lead Account Partner for multiple F500 clients. He was formerly the Operations Leader for KPMG’s Risk Assurance Service Line and the lead partner for KPMG’s National SAP Risk Consulting practice. In addition to public accounting experience, Kent has also served as a solutions architect for an international consulting firm’s SAP practice and as a corporate controller for a manufacturing firm. Kent has been responsible for numerous IT advisory and audit engagements for multiple FORTUNE companies. These include merger integration assistance and PMO services, global IT audit engagements, pre/post-implementation application reviews, project risk management, IT landscape rationalization, full-life cycle SAP implementations, SAP controls integration engagements, SAP security redesign engagements, SAP GRC implementations and audits of SAP GRC installations, application security and controls reviews, and global external audit engagements.
