My passion is building companies that bring control, transparency and flexibility to the consumer finance markets. Recognizing that traditional distribution methods in banking and personal finance were ripe for disruption, my goal is to provide the most innovative and unbiased solutions for consumers After a meaningful career with a Wall Street investment bank, I founded my first company - SouthCap Brokerage Group. SouthCap Brokerage Group is a life insurance general agency that specializes in assisting wealth managers, financial advisors and family offices with their clients’ advanced life insurance and estate planning needs. SouthCap is the only dedicated life insurance firm started by individuals with capital markets experience catering to financial services professionals. Services provided include: expert policy portfolio analysis and construction, underwriting advocacy and advanced case design. Seeing a need in the banking and lending space, I utilized the same brokerage experience to found Walton Funding. Realizing that the traditional lending process had taken all of the control away from the borrower, I built out a platform of agency, non-agency, and private equity investors to bring borrowers more control and transparency. My wife and I reside with our son in Watersound, FL. My goal is to continue to develop products and teams that can be impactful and create opportunities.
