About Jennifer Lawson

A top performer in every sense, my career in banking services for government, nonprofit, and higher education clients is defined by my knack for cultivating and sustaining relationships with all stakeholders, swift decision-making skills, and leadership prowess. Serving in Senior Vice President roles since early in my career, my swift upward career progression is a testament to my work ethic, ambition, and intuitive business, financial, and functional acumen. In my current role, I manage the largest portfolio of clients, from $1M to $1.2B in deposits, as the Senior Vice President, Regional Manager of government banking for US Bank in the Seattle, Washington area. I am most proud of rebuilding and repairing the relationships with the State of Oregon and the State of California as well as generating a 10% YOY increase,$3.5M, for the Northwest Region. Before joining the US Bank Seattle office, I served as the Senior Vice President, Relationship Manager in Naples, Florida, and in San Francisco, California. While in Florida, I managed state relationships in Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Orlando, and Miami. I focused on the municipal sector, establishing a Qualified Public Depository by building consensus with internal, external, and legal stakeholders throughout the state, facilitating the deal. In California, I Ied the vision, strategy, and execution for a portfolio of 75 public sector entities, surging revenue from $9M to $17M over four years, an 89% gain. Additionally, I was awarded the Legends Award for my role in obtaining a credit deal with the state. With a stop in Phoenix, AZ, as the Senior Vice President, Government/Not-For-Profit Banking for JP Morgan & Chase, I focused on business development and treasury management. I drove $250K of profits in my first-year collecting payments for a new client, an electronic transportation signaling device company, through close cross-functional team collaboration, improved communications, and a streamlined user-experience model. My early career began at FleetBoston Financial Corporation before Bank of America acquired it. I worked my way up from an entry-level Bank Officer and Credit Analyst to the youngest Senior Vice President in company history in just seven years. With the ability to cultivate and sustain relationships, execute decisions, and train, mentor, and develop high performing teams, my past career successes combined with my future ambition serves as the foundation for continued career success.
