ABOUT JULIA G. MARTIN
Not interested in PE buy out or partnership) Owner of ABA Connections, a small clinic in Norman, and co-owner of Humans Helping Humans, LLC, a virtual training platform, J. Gayla Martin, BCBA, LBA began in the field as a behavior technician in 2007 and obtained her board certification in 2013. Since then, she has enjoyed applying the principles of learning history to change socially significant behavior exhibited by children and adolescents, across multiple environments. As a BCBA, she believes it is imperative to collaborate and work as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team, invested in helping clients and families be the guiding force in achieving their goals. Likewise, it is her responsibility to ethically and thoughtfully oversee the supervision of her staff. While she is passionate about helping clients, she is just as passionate about supporting BCBAs in maintaining a healthy balance in life, including prioritizing their personal values. In addition to maintaining common certifications, such as CPR, she obtained her Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) certification to help identify mental health challenges in the workplace and provide needed support to clients and staff. In addition to delivering a higher quality of service, she also invests time in training others to do the same. She is currently a BACB ACE provider, and in January of 2022 she and Natalie Williams Awodeha, Ph.D, BCBA, CRC, LBA, began offering trainings to parents, teachers, and community members who are interested in applying the science of behavior analysis through their virtual platform, Humans Helping Humans.
