ABOUT J. ERIC STACY

I am a Certified Club Manager that obtained my designation in 2007 after many years of education and experience. My career was started at Berry Hills Country Club at the age of 16. I am currently the Director of Operations at Latitude Margaritaville Watersound. Prior to that I was the General Manager at Flat Creek Country Club in Peachtree City, GA, Clubhouse Manager at Indian Hills Country Club in Tuscaloosa, AL, Clubhouse Manager of Hermitage Country Club which is located in the Richmond, VA area. I have also served as the Club Manager at Old North State Club, a McConnell Golf Property, located in the Charlotte, NC area. During my time there, Old North was home of the Annual Men’s Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Golf Championship. I have been involved in the successful operation of the Duramed Futures Tour Ladies event held at Richmond Country Club in Richmond, VA, where I served as the Clubhouse Manager and General Manager. I have also had the honor, for several years, of coordinating the operation of the skyboxes on hole seventeen at the Wyndham PGA Event (formerly The Greater Greensboro Open) held at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, NC, one of the Sister clubs to Old North State Club.I enjoy gardening, hiking, kayaking, white water rafting, camping, biking and being outdoors in any fashion with my fiancé, Denise. I am a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School, have been a CMAA member for more than 32 years and am a Certified Club Manager (CCM). I served a three year term on the Board of the Virginias Chapter of the Club Management Association of America where I held the offices of Secretary and Student Chapter Liaison. I look forward to continuing to give back to the hospitality industry that has given so much to me throughout my career.
