Plug Me In (a Callisen Company) acquired Environmental Energies opening the door to global supply and install of innovative renewable energy solutions for domestic and commercial customers. As Design Engineer, my duties include:• Solar Layouts and Schematics: Producing detailed designs and schematics for sales, orders and installation using AutoCAD, K2 base and PV Sol.• Site Plan Design: Designing site plans for access, scaffolding, crane drop points, security, and health & safety considerations.• Bracket and Rail Determination: Using K2 Base design software to determine the appropriate bracket and rail types needed for installations.• Handover Packs: Compiling comprehensive handover packs for end customers and the National Grid for projects valued up to £3 million.• 3D Drawings: Creating detailed 3D drawings for customers using SketchUp.• Photo editing: Using photoshop to edit photos to aid with marketing and the sales team.• Collaboration: Coordinating with some of the UK\'s largest commercial companies to ensure project alignment.• Cross-Department Liaison: Liaising with sales teams, project managers, and installers regarding orders, updates and designs.• First Aid & Mental health first aider.
