ABOUT J. B. RICHARD

J.B. Richard is a visionary leader in the tech and AI industry. With a bachelor\'s degree in computer science from the University of Montreal (1992), an MBA from ESG-UQAM, and an EMBA from Paris Dauphine (2002), J.B. has a solid academic foundation. In 2017, J.B. began doctoral studies in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Sherbrooke, earning a third cycle diploma (D3C) in 2022.The entrepreneurial journey of J.B. Richard is quite remarkable. Founding and serving as the CEO of CoFoMo from 1995 to 2003, this is now a company with over IT consultants. Later roles include CEO and founder of Hureca, a consulting firm specializing in human resources, with offices in Canada and France (20••••13). Transitioning to technology consulting in 2013, the expertise led to a position with the Techstars team in 2018 as an Artificial Intelligence (AI) scientist. This pivotal role involved supporting the 10 companies in the inaugural cohort of the Techstars AI accelerator program in Montreal. Following the program, J.B. joined and was a co-founder of Alexi, an AI legal technology company (COO 20••••21). Since 2021, consulting roles have been held for prominent corporations such as MCN, PSP Investment, and Desjardins. In 2023, Mirabilis AI was founded, a consulting firm dedicated to assisting companies in deploying AI, with J.B. Richard as the CEO. He is also the author of the Aii methodology, an AI integration and deployment methodology book.
