About Justin Bailey
I am a planning project manager in the Environmental Planning group at Hg Consult, Inc. I am also a Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) with over 20 years of experience completing biological studies and permitting efforts for projects across all industries with an emphasis in Transportation and Renewable Energy. My primary responsibilities include project management, wetland delineations and other biological studies, and general environmental permitting for transportation, renewable energy, and commercial development projects. This work involves understanding hydrological connections, soil classification, plant identification, plant community determination, technical writing and regulatory guidelines and processes. I have been fortunate to travel, performing wetland delineations, permitting efforts, and/or botanical surveys across the U.S. for projects pertaining to transportation, renewable energy, electric transmission lines, commercial developments, water treatment plants, well fields, and pipelines. In addition, I have designed, constructed, and/or monitored the development of wetland and stream mitigation projects in Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.The Environmental Planning team at Hg Consult includes some of the region\'s premier NEPA practitioners. We aim to provide a seamless approach to transportation and environmental planning, delivering innovative solutions that prioritize sustainability, compliance, and long-term success.
