About J. Andrew Miller

Mr. Miller has been active in real estate design and development for more than 25 years. He brings a multi-disciplinary background with great depth of experience. Having directed projects in almost every real estate category, his experience provides measured decisions with knowledge of how early decisions effect later performance. Graduating from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, Mr. Miller started his career in architecture and became a licensed Architect. Opening a partnership in 1993, he quickly learned how to merge business acumen with the practice of architecture. These early insights of competitive advantages, value based decisions, and the desire for more control over the design and construction of his projects ultimately led him to enter the Graduate School of Business at the University of Washington. As a newly minted MBA graduate in 1997, Mr. Miller started his career in real estate development. His combined experiences leading projects from start-to-finish has provided an invaluable experience in making critical decisions to move projects forward. To date, Andrew has been involved in three start-up companies and has directed staff sizes ranging from two to forty-five people. In 2022, he is currently working on his 55th project in the Pacific Northwest. Real estate experience includes work in land acquisitions, management of consultant teams, entitlement and permitting, financial and business planning, construction oversight, sales and marketing, leasing, building concept prototyping, and project close-out. Projects have included land development, multi-family housing, single family housing, townhomes, commercial, medical, and institutional work. Although Mr. Miller believes that his work is a reflection of his life, and therefore works incessantly to build great projects, he still finds time to spend with his wife (also an Architect from Cal Poly) and his two children.
