Leading multiple teams to design and deliver large-scale funding programmes that encourage the adoption of deep technology within different sectors in the UK economy. My current role includes: • Leading on Digital Catapult\'s involvement in MyWorld, a 5 year programme led by University of Bristol and funded by InnovateUK, working to encourage innovation in and adoption of deep tech within the creative sector in the West of England. Digital Catapult has delivered 4 funding calls to the region, with focus areas including Artificial Intelligence and Tooling for Creatives, whilst exploring the collaborative potential between academic and commercial institutions to push the frontier of deep tech application. • Leading on delivery of four funding calls within CreaTech Frontiers, a 5-year £7.2 million project funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). These funding calls work to build business growth potential for SMEs in region, whilst utilising existing capabilities in the four main research organisations in the Creative Cluster. • Working on the GridFlex programme, funded by Innovate UK, which takes a holistic, systems-level view of the UK energy landscape to improve operational efficiencies, enhance energy flexibility, and strengthen resilience to fluctuations in supply and demand. My role focuses on shaping future energy scenarios and designing a robust foresighting methodology that can guide strategic planning and help stakeholders anticipate emerging risks and opportunities across the energy system.
