ABOUT IZZIE CLARKE
I am a Senior Engineer employed at Max Fordham, based in Bristol but working for the London MEP team. I achieved Chartership with CIBSE in 2024. I work across a wide range of projects, more recently The National Gallery, Royal Observatory Greenwich, and Oxford\'s Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities. I am passionate about working with architects to create elegant integrated engineering solutions that function sustainably. For Greenwich this meant designing a discrete heat pump system to support listed buildings on a 350 year old site. For Oxford I developed builders-work and joinery ventilation details which seamlessly settled in to the architecture.I am an active member of our “Women and Minority Genders” and “Chronic Illness and Disability” groups. Ensuring the people I work with feel supported and inspired is important to me. I have also spent time volunteering with schools and universities to encourage young people, particularly girls, to pursue careers in STEM no matter their background.
