Provide real time information about the functional integrity of neural structures in anesthetized patients to assist surgeons in detecting neurological injury-Perform preoperative patient interview, review of medical history, neurologic assessment and consenting to contribute to tailored IOM plan based on procedure, approach and company quality standards-Apply/remove necessary stimulating and recording electrodes using appropriate precautions and sterile techniques. Efficiently troubleshoot electrical interference or other technical problems, assessing the impact of significant surgical, anesthetic, or physiologic events to optimize data acquisition-Effectively communicate data with the surgical team and oversight neurologist throughout the procedure. Submit a complete and accurate medical report and appropriate billing documentation for every patient-Accommodate high volume travel assignments in southern, central and western US territories. Coordinate and book scheduled and urgent travel arrangements. Navigate various facility/surgeon specific preferences while managing frequent changes in operating room scheduling-Proactively maintain necessary credentials, continued education, and supplies required for above duties.*Selected for the “Show Up Curious” Quarterly Values Award.
