About Izi Pinho
Originally from Brazil, I moved to the USA in 2006 and I fell in love with the American people and culture. Since then, I have established a strong connection and involvement within the community and am proud to call Orlando, Florida my home.I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rollins College with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a minor in Business Administration in 2012. In recognition of outstanding academic achievement in Economics, I was awarded the Outstanding Academic Achievement and Engagement Award. While completing my undergraduate studies, I saw the impact I could make in my community and became involved in various organizations— Member of Rollins Kappa Chapter of Omicron Delta Epsilon (ODE); Member of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK); and Volunteer at The Office of Community Engagement (OCE).After graduating from Rollins College, I enrolled in law school and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Stetson University College of Law with a Juris Doctor in 2016.During my time at Stetson, I was a Notes and Comments Editor for the Stetson Law Review and received the Outstanding Associate Award. Stetson Law Review published my article, “The Advent of Benefit Corporations in Florida.”I also was a recipient of the Melvyn Trute, P.A. Trust Award, for my demonstration of excellence in Trusts & Estates. In January of 2017, I was admitted and became a member of the Florida Bar. Currently, I serve as a member in the following sections of the Florida Bar: Real Property, Probate & Trust; Solo & Small Firm; and Young Lawyers. I have also been a member since 2019 for the American Immigration Lawyers Association. In 2018, I founded Pinho Law, PLLC. Pinho Law is a law firm with a particular focus on immigration and business law, helping other immigrants achieve their American dream. I help foreign citizens to invest, establish businesses, and immigrate to the USA. I am passionate about solving complex issues and delivering quality services to my clients. Since 2018, I have been fortunate to grow at a fast pace. I am an entrepreneur at heart and fell in love with the business of law. Today, Pinho Law employs 18 professionals among many other collaborators. In May of 2022, I was nominated as Orlando’s Women of the Year by Orlando Magazine. This nomination was very special to me because Orlando Magazine honors 24 women every year that have been recommended by their readers. The women are educators, mentors, counselors, entrepreneurs, but above all, leaders who keep the community strong.’
